I recently started a job as a in-house SEM manager and we had Trada set up. I've found their customer support to be terrible so far - I've sent three emails and called twice with no result! It's a good idea on paper but the execution just isn't there.

Hey Peter,

I hope you find success working with Trada... they have a lot of smart folks working over there. A lot has changed at their company since I blogged this post several months back. That said, I'd be curious to see how Trada works from an advertiser's perspective. I hope you can continue to update us on your progress! Thanks for the post,

- Greg

Hey Joe,

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I briefly looked over Fast-tek's website. It's an interesting dilemma that you're in. From my understanding, you own a franchise of a bigger company, and you're interested in helping your franchise location only by using Google Adwords. You're only interested in driving traffic to your landing page at local.fasttek.com/sj.

Before I answer any more questions, do you have access to your website? When you were driving traffic via your adwords campaign that you tried, what was the landing page URL? How effectively were you able to track your campaign's success?

This has got my brain spinning... you should be able to throw together a knockout adwords campaign, but your relationship with Fast-tek could be tricky. Let me know on those questions and I'll definitely revisit!

Best,

- Greg

We just signed up with Trada last week, and this our first week with them. Yesterday there were 4 optimizers working on my account, and today 7.

So far, as for performance, I would give it a C for now. And I bookmarked this page, and will try to update every week.

Hi Greg,

I own a Computer Services franchise called Fast-teks. I have been doing my own adwords on Google however I am basically clueless. My target audience is somewhat controlled by boundaries and I was wondering if you where in my shoes who would you use to do you internet advertising? I was considering Trada, what are your thoughts? Thank you in advance.

Hi Greg,

Great to have someone of your caliber sharing info. I am a marketing consultant with a number of clients just getting into PPC. I have extensive Madison Ave agency experience, but limited PPC. Prefer to work with an individual who has proven experience on a per click or per sale basis. Do you hgave any names you can suggest, or should I just try Warrior Forum? Was thinking of Trada till I read your review.

Thanks,
Charlie Katz

Hi Greg,

I signed up as an optimizer...I am confused on how to make money and how the whole thing works. The system is very clunky and it is very difficult to build a campaign. I am very hopeful that improvements are on the way. It seems like a very good idea.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the review - It's really helpful. We are actually doing PPC in-house and someone raised the idea of trada.com. However, I am concern about having too many "experts" (as Trada claims: an average 24 ppl/account) will result in too many changes, not enough time to collect data and eventually effects account's overall performance. I was wondering do you have any insights into that?

Thanks for your time!

Hi Greg,

Thank you for the review - it's a time-saver! Based on your review, this sounds like a really silly idea.
